Bercab Farms Inc. is a family owned and operated company which was established in 1986 by the deNijs family. Edmundus deNijs immigrated from Holland in 1949 and began farming in the Tupperville area. In 1977, his eldest son Edward deNijs joined the family farm. The incorporation of Bercab Farms Inc. came in 1986 by Edward and Betty deNijs. In 2000 Robert deNijs completed a college degree and came home to join in the family farm as a minor shareholder. In 2009 Succession Planning was completed, with Robert and his wife Erin becoming majority shareholders of the Corporation.
Bercab Farms Inc. continues to educate team members by attending management programs, regional and international conferences, courses in regard to crop health, management, and health & safety courses.
Bercab Farms currently grows a wide range of crops including grains and oilseeds and horticulture crops such as tomatoes, banana peppers, green beans, peas and sweet corn.
Always present is a willingness to branch into new crop ventures.
